WORKSHOP OF BRITISH LITERATURE

HI GUYS, another day we did some engaging activity with the students… we prepared a ppt presentation about British Literature. We started talking about the literary stories and poets from the 7th century to the 21st one. We showed pictures related to the books and talked about personal experiences abroad we had when visiting museums and galleries… They appreciated so much and learned about literature… some students had this bad concept of learning and studyin’ literature… they decided that t’was not that bad… LOL …from Beowulf to Jane Austen and from Bram Stoker to Lord Byron...

Getting the students into reading is something we are looking forward to seeing ;)

There is a tide in the affairs of men.
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures.

Julius Caesar Act 4, scene 3, 218–224
